Cozy, ocean-front perfection on Isla Holbox!
This was our 5th or 6th visit to Isla Holbox, but our FIRST at the charming Casa Cat Ba! The reviews and photos on social media lived fully up to my expectations. It’s perfectly situated – near the town square, but still quiet. Beach front, endless views from watching the flamingos fly to the other side of the island while drinking well-crafted lattes and delicious breakfast to sipping a glass of wine chatting with the lovely owners as the sunset creates an epic display across the sky. The whole place is well decorated, and very welcoming. There was enough space to have your own privacy, while the communal dining and deck area gives guests the opportunity to mingle. Service was top notch – Rosa was a delightfully sweet hostess that answered all of our questions, the girls that handle the breakfast service & housekeeping were polite and extremely capable and of course – the owners were AMAZING! Colette assisted us in our travel to & from Chiquila and we enjoyed the (not enough time) spent chatting with them! The room was flawless and quiet, had a soft, luxurious bed and an oceanfront deck with two sling chairs. We’ve stayed numerous times, at the top hotels on the island, and we will be coming back again & again to Casa Cat Ba.
